In a major recruiting victory, Kansas basketball secured the commitment of five-star point guard Taylen Kinney, the No. 1 ranked point guard in the  2026 class.  The 6-foot-1 playmaker from Newport, Kentucky, announced his decision live on CBS Sports HQ.  Kinney, who averaged 20.1 points and 5 assists with Overtime Elite in Atlanta, chose Kansas over blue-blood programs like Indiana and Kentucky.  He represents the foundation for Kansas' future backcourt.

JuJu Watkins to Miss Entire 2025 - 26 Season

USC superstar JuJu Watkins announces she will sit out the entire 2025 - 26 season to recover from a right ACL tear suffered during the NCAA tournament.  This is a massive blow to women's college basketball.

Watkins, who averaged 23.9 point, 6.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists as a sophomore, is already considered a top WNBA prospect at just 20 years old.  She's a two-time first-team All-American who led USC to back-to-back Elite Eight appearances and reached 1,000 career points.
