This decision makes Pennsylvania the 32nd state to adopt a shot clock, which will be set at 35 seconds for both junior varsity and varsity games. The move has been met with mixed reactions, with supporters praising the potential for a more fast-paced and entertaining game, while others have raised concerns about the financial costs for schools.
Looking ahead, ESPN has announced its 2025 - 26 High School Basketball Showcase schedule, which will feature 12 games and 38 of the nation's top-ranked players. The showcase will include major events like the City of Palms Classic and the Hoophall Classic, and will feature future starts committed to top college programs such as Duke, Kansas, and Kentucky.
